This space was specially created for an eight-year-old boy who loves to play Minecraft, Pokemon and draw. Different shades of his favourite colour blue were used on the walls, with orange as the accent colour. Black and white stripes were painted on the walls to add visual interest and an African mudcloth printed fabric was used on the headboard, to celebrate his South African heritage. Floating shelves were used to display bespoke art, Lego and rare Pokemon cards, current faves at the moment, all things that can be easily swapped out as interests change and his aesthetic evolves.
